Welcome to Courtallam popularly known as, The Spa of South India. It is situated at a height of 160 m on the Western ghats in Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu, India. The main attraction of cortallam for all its visitors is the waterfalls. There are six waterfalls in courtallam - Main Falls, Five Falls,Old Courtallam Falls,Tiger Falls, Shanbagadevi Falls,Honey Falls & Palaruvi falls. Further away from the rest are another attractive and perhaps the largest amongst the courtallam falls. Coutralam is being the origination for perennial rivers like the Chittar River, the Manimuthar River, the Pachaiyar River and the Tambaraparani River. The several serious of Waterfalls flows in here along with the ever present health resorts. The water of this falls is flowing across the herbs so it is believed to have medical and therapeutic qualities. That’s why it’s earned the title named “The Spa of South India”. From June to September, South West Monsoon will be a fantastic season for Coutralam falls. There are some visiting spots like BOAT HOUSES, AQUARIUM, CHILDREN’S PARK, SNAKE PARK; SWIMMING POOL is also one special attraction here.
